Snowboarding Adventures in Manali with INME
Experience the thrill of snowboarding in the majestic Himalayas with INME’s "Snowboards and Slopes" program in Manali. Perfect for children and young adventurers, this program combines the excitement of snowboarding with the development of essential life skills like balance, confidence, and perseverance. Under the guidance of expert instructors, participants will learn the art of snowboarding while embracing the challenges of the snow-clad mountains.
Perfect for beginners, INME’s snowboarding program introduces participants to the exciting world of snowboarding in a safe and encouraging environment.
The journey begins with a comprehensive introduction to snowboarding and its equipment. Participants start by mastering balance on the board—standing, gliding, jumps and building confidence with essential techniques
Day 1 Arrive at Manali. Transfer to Solang and settle into rooms. Ice breakers and group activities help the participants get to know each other better. This is followed by a program briefing, expectation setting, and an introduction to the equipment and snowboarding gear. Participants learn the basics of snowboarding – balancing, starting, stopping, different riding postures, and understanding the fall line on a low-gradient snowboarding slope.
Day 2 Start the day by practicing the skills learned the previous day. Learn turning techniques like toe-side and heel-side turns, along with uphill techniques such as skating and side stepping. Practice gliding on flat surfaces and riding along the fall line. The day is spent maneuvering down a slope using all the skills learned.
Day 3 Progress to intermediate slopes with a moderate gradient. Focus on improving control and refining turning techniques. Participants also learn how to link turns smoothly while maintaining balance and speed. After lunch on the slopes, enjoy friendly group challenges to test skills and build confidence. Wrap up the day with evening games and team-building activities.
Day 4 Head to a slope with a higher gradient and review all the techniques learned so far before continuing with full-slope snowboarding practice. Post lunch visit Solang Village and understand the village life
Day 5 Take on the highest slope with the steepest gradient of the program and practice exciting new techniques, including small jumps and carving. After a picnic-style lunch, participate in an obstacle course featuring jumps, turns, and stops. It’s a day filled with thrills and challenges! End the evening with games and camaraderie around the bonfire.
Day 6 After a closing session and some free time in the snow, the group explores and shops in Manali. In the evening, depart for Delhi by bus, concluding the adventure.
Hotel accommodation at Solang valley. Separate rooms will be provided for girls and boys on a sharing basis.
