Unlock the Thrill of Sailing with Inme
Set sail on a transformative journey with Inme’s Level 1 Sailing Certification program, uniquely designed to introduce you to the art and science of sailing. Situated on the serene Cauveri River in Mysore, this program is ideal for beginners who are eager to learn and master the basics of sailing in a safe and picturesque environment.
Whether you’re looking to pick up a new hobby, gain a new skill, or simply enjoy a weekend of adventure, the Level 1 Sailing Certification with Inme offers an unparalleled experience. This program is more than just a course; it’s a gateway to a new passion, an opportunity to connect with nature, and a chance to challenge yourself in new ways.
Dec 25: The kids arrive in the afternoon, welcomed with a warm lunch and fun icebreakers to help them settle in. They’ll then visit the enchanting Vrindavan Gardens to experience the captivating light and sound show and explore the nearby Krishna Raja Sagara Dam.
Dec 26: The morning begins with their first sailing session, introducing them to the basics of theory and practice. After lunch, they’ll venture to a local village to connect with the culture, nature, and people, wrapping up the day with exciting campus games.
Dec 27: A second sailing session fills the morning, followed by an afternoon of rifle shooting and archery, guided by trained instructors. Evening games are now a favorite camp tradition, adding a fun touch to every day.
Dec 28: Another sailing session sharpens their skills in the morning. Post-lunch, kids dive into team-building games focused on confidence and camaraderie—a core element of the program.
Dec 29: Kids complete their final sailing session, culminating in a Level 1 certification test. After a hearty lunch and rest, they gear up for Helter Skelter, one of Inme’s most-loved activities. The day ends with a joyful Talent Night and a cozy bonfire under the stars.
Dec 30: The week’s sailing training is put to the test in a friendly competition, with standings contributing to their Helter Skelter scores. After lunch, they bid farewell to camp and head back to Bangalore, returning with new skills, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Spend the nights under the stars in spartan yet comfortable tents that are kitted out with camping mats and sleeping bags. Choose your tent mates—boys and girls separately, of course!

Being well fed and hydrated is crucial to staying energised for the action-packed days. A fully functional kitchen on camp dishes up fresh, wholesome and nutritious food for every meal. Water, soup or juice provided during hydration breaks through the day. Our instructors take care of the rest. They're all certified outdoor experts who go through extensive training and assessment before working with us. For the comfort and special needs of girls, there is a female instructor assigned to each activity group. A doctor is also present on camp at all times to attend to medical needs.
The group departs from Bangalore in AC buses with push-back seats at 7:00am. We reach the camp in time for lunch. On the way back home, the bus reaches the assembly point by 9:00pm. Outstation participants need to fly into Mysore on the morning of the departure date and fly out of Mysore on the arrival date. Call us for recommended flights
We recommend a little jogging, stretching and exercise a few weeks before the departure to gain the flexibility and agility needed to truly enjoy the experience. Do this wearing the shoes you want to carry for the program—it'll help break into them.
