Almaty has roots dating back to the pre historic age. Skiing in Almaty is more than just a sport—it's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich culture of Kazakhstan. After a day on the slopes, explore Almaty’s vibrant city life, where you can enjoy traditional Kazakh cuisine, visit local markets, and experience the warmth of Kazakh hospitality. The city seamlessly blends modernity with tradition, offering a unique cultural experience that complements your winter sports adventure.
Day 1 Arrival in Almaty and transfer to hotel. Check in to hotel. Introduction to the program and instructors. Learn about the equipment used for Skiing and practice walking in Ski boots.
Day 2 Hit the slopes. For the first timers learn how to balance yourself on skis and understand stopping and turning. For the experienced ones hit the beginner slope to practice and test your skills. Get improvement tips by the experts. Post lunch the first timers hit the beginner slopes and the experiences ones head to the intermediate slope to start learning the more advanced techniques
Day 3 In the morning hit the slopes to practice what you have learnt and try to perfect the skills. Post lunch do a cultural tour of the Almaty city
Day 4 Slopes and more slopes - spend the day in the slopes practicing and racing each other. In the evening fun snow related challenges and relax
Day 5 Final session of skiing where all skills are put to test by constructing an obstacle course and end with a Slalom race. Post lunch head for local shopping for souvenirs and momentos
Day 6 Exploration day - hike to Kok-Tobe hill for a panoromic view of the Amlaty and surrounding mountains. Post lunch experience Ice Skating at the Medeu ice skating rink which is the highest mountain ice skating rink in the world
Day 7 Bid goodbye and head to the airport to catch the flight back home
Hotel accommodation at Almaty. Rooms are allocated on triple sharing basis. Attached western toilets with flushes and hot water

Being well fed and hydrated is crucial to staying energised for the action-packed days. The meals provided in the course of the trip are fresh, wholesome and nutritious. Water or juice provided during hydration breaks through the day. The team on the program comprises of experienced and certified skiers and outdoor experts who go through extensive training and assessment before working with us. For the comfort and special needs of girls, there is a female instructor present at all times.
Flight from Delhi/home city to Almaty. If flying from Delhi there will be an Inme team member on the recommended flight accompanying the participants. If taking flight to Almaty from any other city Inme team receives the participants at the Almaty airport. Please connect with us for recommended flights
This program might be more demanding than the usual physical activities you're used to. We recommend a little jogging, stretching and exercise a few weeks before the departure to gain the flexibility and agility needed to truly enjoy the experience. Do this wearing the shoes you want to carry for the program—it'll help break into them.
