Step Up: Choose Your Challenge – Bhillar

Activities at Camp Bhillar offer early teens two focused challenge pathways. Campers choose between rock climbing with backpacking, or ropes-course progression with outdoor survival skills—each designed to build confidence and competence over time. The climbing track introduces technical equipment, knots, jumaring, and rappelling, while backpacking builds campcraft and navigation awareness through overnight experiences. The ropes course develops confidence progressively through structured challenges, alongside survival sessions that introduce shelter building, water purification, signalling, and environmental awareness, including guided night-out experiences.

Dorm-azing Days

Campers stay in comfortable cottages supporting structured community living. Cottages are shared by four to five campers to encourage friendships and teamwork, with boys and girls in separate supervised areas. Attached washrooms with toilets and hot water are maintained daily, while campers take responsibility for their living spaces, strengthening independence, ownership, and mutual respect within the group.

Fueled for Adventure
