Through activities like kayaking, bouldering, and guided Sahyadri hikes, participants are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, build independence, and grow in confidence physically and mentally while developing early outdoor and teamwork skills.

Beginner-friendly activities introduce campers to new challenges in a safe, encouraging environment. Campers learn kayaking basics including paddle strokes, safety equipment, and coordinated movement on calm water. Bouldering sessions introduce climbing equipment, knots, and balance. Guided Sahyadri hikes develop walking techniques and early camping skills, while cool-time sessions combine reflection, games, and group learning.

Safety & Care

Safety is integrated into every activity and daily routine. Experienced Camp Chiefs and instructors supervise all programs with a 1:6 adult-to-participant ratio. Equipment including ropes, helmets, harnesses, and carabiners meets international UIAA standards and is regularly audited. A resident doctor stays on campus, with an emergency vehicle on standby and a multi-specialty hospital approximately 30 minutes away in Kamshet itself.

Room to Roam

Campers stay in comfortable cottages introducing structured community living. Cottages are shared by four to five campers to encourage friendships and teamwork, with boys and girls in separate supervised areas. Attached washrooms with toilets are cleaned daily and hot water is maintained, while campers participate in maintaining their living spaces, building independence and respect for shared environments.

Fueled for Adventure

 Nutritious, balanced meals keep campers energised through active program days. Food is predominantly vegetarian, with eggs at breakfast and non-vegetarian meals offered several times during camp. Jain meal requests are accommodated. Regular snacks and hydration are provided throughout the day, meals are supervised by instructors, and campers join simple clean-up routines that encourage responsibility.

Travel Details

Departure from Mumbai is at 8:00 AM on Day 1, with return around 6:00 PM on the final day. The journey takes approximately four to four-and-a-half hours from Mumbai and about two hours from Pune Airport. Air-conditioned buses are arranged by Inme, airport transfers from Pune are supported for outstation participants, and escorted travel on select flights is available. All travel is overseen by a dedicated Inme travel team, ensuring supervision, coordination, and support for campers throughout the journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

Kayaking is conducted in a calm, controlled water body, and children are required to wear life jackets at all times. Sessions are led by trained instructors who teach basic techniques first, making it safe even for children who are non-swimmers.

A doctor is available on camp, and instructors are trained in first aid to handle minor issues immediately. In case of any medical concern, there is an emergency vehicle on standby to ensure quick access to professional care.

INME camps are designed to be no-screen, immersive experiences, so children do not have access to phones. However, the team ensures updates and parents can reach out to the team in case of any urgent need.
